I am non-Calvinist, love Jesus with all my being, worship a majestic, sovereign God, and am tired of feeling theologically inferior due to the attitude of well-meaning but uncharitable Calvinists. The arrogance is astounding. And in the last few years, I have found that a lot of the pride--as an expression of elitism in my opinion--is based on ignorance. The issue with "the doctrines of grace" is that the label converts grace into "power," and that into a negation. It becomes who God does not grant grace to, etc. Thanks David Hey there,
