We've always lived in areas too far from a station to pick up any channels, and I won't pay for cable or satellite service. Occasionally, when it is too hot to play outside, my children will watch a dvd. This has been a great blessing, I believe, for my family, and especially my children. A while back we were at my parents and a commercial was on. My 5 year old, who had never seen a TV commercial, asked, "Are those previews?" We have a TV, but we have no TV service.
